The only useless guide is written by a dev (or an associate of the developers), but that guide is a sugar-coated copy of the in-game explanations. I spent maybe close to 4 hours of my game time just browsing the discussion in the Steam overlay trying to figure out what everything does. But you wouldn't know this because the game doesn't explain how any of the stats work. Overall, much of the gear is useless in the game too. In the end, you will never use the dispatcher. This means that you will have SWAT teams pulling people over while patrol car after patrol car is massacred attempting to stop a street gang. The AI doesn't take into consideration of the vehicle or gear of your units. That sounds cool in principle, but it is completely useless in-game. To offset this growth, the game offers you the ability to use AI dispatchers that send units to calls. This means that you will exponentially gain more calls while your force increases linearly by just a few cars each day. On the other hand, you income grows rather slowly and is almost constant compared to the growth of calls. ![]() As you get further into the game, the spawn rates of call increase while at the same time you also unlock more districts that you have to manage. Some of the calls get pretty intense and have me thinking, "I can't believe they are allowed to put this in a video game." The RTS gameplay is also fun. ![]()
